Description

So I’ve been keeping this 2017 Swift Escape 694 in my garage for a few years now — it’s been my home away from home on the road, and I’m finally ready to part with it. It’s a solid 4-bert setup, perfect for couples or families who want space without needing a full-size van.

The cabin is surprisingly spacious — big lounge area, a proper rear island bed with storage, reading lights, and even side windows with blinds and fly screens. The front dinette can also convert into a double bed, which is a real plus when you’re on a trip.

It’s 3500kg, so no need for a full car licence — just a normal one. The cab is fully equipped: power steering, aircon, cruise control, sat-nav, reversing camera, cup holders, mood lighting, and cabinet lighting. All the storage feels well thought out — cabinets, under-seat bins, and even a good layout in the kitchen.

Kitchen’s solid: 3-burner gas hob with electric plate, oven and grill, sink with hot and cold taps, a 3-way fridge freezer, and microwave. There’s even 240V power, which means you can run appliances when you’re out camping.

Washroom has a cassette toilet, sink, shower with curtain, and cupboards — all with heating. Hot water and heating come from a Truma boiler, which can run on gas or electric, so you’re not locked into one power source.

Extras: wind-out canopy awning, Avtex TV, mattress topper, and tracker. M.O.T expires October 26, 2025 — next service due February 26.

I’ve kept it well looked after, with regular servicing and a solid habitation history. Mileage is 23,043 — it’s not a lot for a 2017, and it’s been used mostly for weekend trips and holidays.

Dimensions: 7.4m long, 2.3m wide, 2.9m tall.

I’m based in Shoreham-by-Sea, Adur, so if you're local or planning a trip through that area, it’s easier to arrange a view. I’m happy to send you a link to a virtual tour with photos and a YouTube video — just drop me an email or text with “284735” and I’ll send it over.

It’s not a flashy buy — just a reliable, practical motorhome that’s been used responsibly. The price is £40,495.50, but I don’t want to make it sound like a transaction. It’s more about sharing something I’ve loved and using for years.

If you’re thinking of getting into motorhome life, I’d be happy to chat — I’ve been through a lot of the basics, so if you ever get stuck on how to use something, I can help.

No brokers, no sales pressure — just a real person sharing a vehicle they’ve genuinely enjoyed.

Let me know if you’d like to see it in person — I’ll make it work.

P.S. I’ve only ever used it for camping, not long hauls, so it’s still in great shape. The engine’s a 2287cc with 6-speed manual — simple, reliable, and not fussy.

And yes, it comes with the V5, everything you need to get it on the road.
