Description

So, I’ve been using this 49/1 end-fed 125W setup for a few years now and it’s been pretty solid — no tuner needed, just plug and go. It’s a brand new PEP ICAS unit with a SO239 socket, super core (way bigger than the old FT140-43), wound with silver-plated RS PTFE wire, resin potted, and it’s lightweight. Got a marine A4 stainless steel line strain relief with eye and a thimble, plus a solid SS wire lock and HD end insulator.

I just need to add 20.5 metres of wire to get it tuned for 7/14/21/28MHz, or double that to add 3.5MHz — easy to adjust. Also included is a 250W 1/1 line isolator with two SO239 sockets — super handy for my shack to stop RF noise and signal return. Comes with printed instructions so you can get it set up without any hassle.

I’ve kept it in my home base at Seahouses, Northumberland, and it’s been sitting in a clean, dry spot. I’m not selling it to a store or for a project — just passing it on to someone who’ll actually use it. It’s not cheap, but it’s been well cared for and works well.

Price is £27, and I’ll take UK P&P only — £5 via PayPal (F&F), BACS, or cash on collection from Seahouses. No fancy marketing, just a real guy sharing something he’s used and trusts. Geoff Brown, G4ICD/GJ4ICD — happy to chat if you’ve got questions. See you on QRZ.
