Description

I’ve had this K2 brolly-bivvy system for a few years now and it’s honestly been a game-changer for my fishing trips. I’ve never actually used the groundsheet — it’s still in perfect condition, like it’s never been out in the weather. The front panel has the vapour shield, which keeps the inside dry, and the DPM camo makes it blend in nicely when I’m on the bank.

It’s not just a brolly — it’s a hybrid, with an open front for summer days and a full front for winter weather, so I can go from a light cover to full protection without having to change gear. The fabric is 20,000mm Hydrotec®, which is solid, and there’s no condensation thanks to the vapour guard. The zip-on groundsheet is easy to set up and keeps everything dry.

I’ve used it on a fair few trips — from flat banks to wetter days — and it’s held up really well. The front zip has three door options, button-release STS mechanism, and those big Mozi vents with a PVC window give good airflow. The easy-grip zip pullers make it a breeze to open and close.

It comes with four storm poles, a support bar, two rod straps, and heavy-duty pegs — everything you’d need on a fishing spot. The packed-down size is tiny, so it fits easily in my car. I’ve stored it in a tough zip bag, and it’s still in great shape.

I’m moving to Stowmarket, Suffolk, and it’s been sitting in my shed for a while. I’ve only used it a handful of times, so it’s still essentially new in terms of use. It’s a solid piece of kit I’ve relied on, and I’m parting with it because I’m not planning to use it much anymore.

It’s worth £135 — I’m not selling it for a lot, just because I’ve got a new setup now. If you’re into fishing and need something that works in all conditions, this is the one.
