Description

I’ve had this HOHNER Concerto IV piano accordion for years – it’s one of those classic German models from the 60s, built in West Germany. It’s got 120 bass buttons, 41 treble keys, plus 5 treble and 2 bass buttons. The original hard case is still with it, so it’s all together in good shape for storage. I bought it when I first started playing, and it’s been sitting in my Nottingham, Nottinghamshire shed since then. It needs a bit of work – the keys are a bit stiff, and the action feels a bit loose – but it’s still got a solid tone and plays well enough to keep me going. I’m not looking to use it much anymore, just keeping it in case someone wants to get into the instrument. Price is £423, so it’s not cheap, but it’s a real piece of musical history. If you’re into old accordions or playing folk music, this could be a good fit.
