2025 Volkswagen California 2.0 TDI Coast DSG Euro 6 (s/s) 4dr Camper Van Diesel Automatic
Description
I’ve been driving this 2025 Volkswagen California Coast for a few months now, and honestly, it’s become my go-to for weekend getaways and longer trips. It’s a solid mix of practicality and comfort — not flashy, but actually useful when you’re on the move. The 2.0-litre diesel engine with DSG automatic is smooth and efficient, and it’s Euro 6 compliant, so no worries about emissions. It’s got a clean, modern look in Mono Silver with alloy wheels, automatic headlights, power-adjustable mirrors, rear-view camera, and both front and rear parking sensors — makes parking a breeze, especially in tight spots.
It sleeps four, which is great for family trips. The pop-up roof with roof bed gives you extra headroom, and the rear seats fold into a double bed — easy to convert when you need it. There are ISOFIX points too, which is handy if you’re travelling with kids. The front seats can swivel, which helps when you’re parked and need more space.
Inside, it’s comfy with heated front seats, climate control, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. The digital dash keeps me informed, and cruise control helps keep things relaxed on long drives. The 6.5-inch infotainment system has DAB radio, Bluetooth, and a stereo — enough for music and navigation.
I’ve got a built-in summer kitchen with a gas hob, sink, and a cool box that’s accessible from both inside and outside — perfect for cooking on the go. There’s also an external awning, a camping table, and chairs, so you can actually enjoy being outside.
I’ve kept it well-maintained and it’s been used mostly for weekend trips and light touring. It’s not a daily driver, but it’s reliable and handles everything from city roads to rural routes without fuss.
It’s currently based in Holywell-green, Calderdale, and I’m looking to part ways with it. The asking price is £59,391.90 — it’s a bit steep, but I’ve been thinking about selling it to someone who’ll actually use it properly.
I used to work at a Volkswagen van centre in Lancashire — part of the Swansway Motor Group — and I’ve seen a lot of these vans over the years. I know how they can be, and I’m happy with how this one performs. If you’re serious about using a camper van, this one’s a solid choice.
