Got this 2017 BMW X1 20d M Sport out of a long-term storage at church-stretton, Shropshire, and decided to part with it. It’s a solid, practical SUV with a bit of that premium feel — the M Sport bits give it a sharper edge, and the diesel engine runs quietly and efficiently. The 2.0L engine is good for city driving and country roads, and it’s Euro 6 compliant, so it doesn’t pollute much.

Inside, it’s not flashy but has a few nice touches: heated front seats, rain sensor, and rear parking assist — handy if you’ve got a tight spot to park. Bluetooth hands-free is a nice touch, and cruise control with brake function makes long drives way less tiring.
