I’ve had this 2015 Vauxhall Zafira CDTi SE for a few years now, and it’s been a solid workhorse for my family. It’s a seven-seater, so it’s been great for holidays and weekend trips with kids and the dog. The diesel engine is quiet and gets decent mileage—especially for a family car.

I did a proper vehicle history check, so I know it’s been well looked after and has no major issues. The dual-zone climate control is a real plus, especially when one of the kids is in the back and the other is in the front—no more fighting over who gets the warm side!

Xenon headlights with tunnel detection help a lot when driving at dusk or in rural areas, and the front and rear parking sensors make parking a breeze. I’ve never had to worry about scraping the car when backing up.

It’s not the fastest on the road—0 to 60 in 10.6 seconds is about average for its class—but it’s smooth and reliable. Plus, the insurance group is low, which means it’s not a big cost to keep running.
