Shower chair
Description
Got this shower chair a few years ago and it’s been a real life-saver for my mum, especially when she’s recovering from an injury. It’s in perfect condition and works really well — the seat adjusts to six different heights, from 15 to 20 inches, so it fits different body types. I’ve seen a few on Amazon that claim to be adjustable, but this one actually goes higher than most, which is a big plus. It’s made of aluminium, so it’s sturdy but not heavy, and the seat has good padding. The anti-slip rubber feet stop it from sliding on the floor, which is a relief when you’re using it in the bathroom. The armrests and backrest are removable — handy if you want to turn it into a simple stool or just clean it easily. There are also drainage holes in the seat, so water doesn’t pool and keeps things from slipping.
I’ve used it for elderly people, adults with mobility issues, and even a pregnant woman — everyone found it helpful. The frame is rustproof, no smell, no toxic materials, and it can hold up to 150kg. I bought it for £54.99 originally, but it’s now going for £26.99 — a bit of a bargain considering how useful it’s been.
It’s currently stored at my place in Bexhill-on-Sea, Rother, so if you’re in the area or nearby, I’d be happy to send it or meet up to hand it over. No fuss, just a solid piece of furniture that’s genuinely improved daily life for a few people I know.
