Description

I’ve had this Peugeot 5008 for about 5 years now and it’s been my daily driver through most of the year. It’s a solid, reliable car with a lot of smart features — I actually use it every day, so I know how it behaves in real life.

The interior is fairly modern with brumeo fabric, chrome trim, and plenty of storage. I love the central armrest with its butterfly-style opening — super handy when I’m driving with my kids or just need a quick grab. The dashboard has blue ambient lighting, which I find really nice in the dark, and there’s also a little bit of lighting in the door panels, footwells, and cupholders.

It’s got a 3D navigation system, Bluetooth, DAB radio, and supports MP3 — no issues with music or phone calls. I use voice commands a lot, which makes it easy to keep my hands on the wheel. There’s also a lane departure warning, parking sensors, and a trip computer that helps me keep track of mileage and fuel.

The tech side is solid — mirror screen, USB, and even a reversing camera with 180-degree view. The rear cabin and load area are spacious, and I’ve used it for weekend trips and long hauls. The alloy wheels are 18-inch, Detroit diamond cut — look sharp, and the roof bars are just a bit of a personal touch.

Exterior-wise, it’s got a dark tinted rear window, chrome trim on the front fog lights and rear bumper, and the headlights have LED day running lights and a built-in warning when left on. The fog lamps are halogen, but they work well in the rain. I’ve had the rear wiper cleaned a few times, and the magic wash system is still working fine.

All the doors have power windows with pinch protection, and the mirrors are electric and heated — useful in winter. The front and rear parking sensors are pretty reliable, and the gear indicator helps with shifting.

I’ve kept it well-maintained, and it’s been through a few seasons of heavy use — but still runs smoothly. The engine is quiet, and I haven’t had any major issues.

It’s now parked in Berkeley, Stroud, and I’m looking to part with it because I’ve recently moved to a different area and don’t need it as much. It’s not a show car, just a reliable daily driver with a lot of features.

The car comes with a 6-month warranty from Stellantis &You UK — which is a good sign since they’ve got a long history of customer service and support. I’ve actually used their service before and found it helpful.

If you’re interested, I’m happy to chat or meet up. No pressure — just a solid car with real-life use, and a bit of history behind it.

P.S. The price is £10,713.60, but that’s not the focus — it’s more about sharing the story of how I’ve used it over the years.
