2018 Ford Ecosport 1.0T EcoBoost Titanium 5-door hatchback
Description
So I’ve been keeping this car for a few years now — it’s not flashy, but it’s solid. Got it from a friend back in Moray, Scotland, and it’s been a reliable daily driver for me. It’s a 2018 Ecosport with the 1.0T EcoBoost engine, manual gearbox, and Euro 6 compliance — 125ps, so it’s not the fastest, but it gets the job done. The wheels are 17in alloy in flash grey, machined finish, and they’re adjustable — useful when you’ve got a load in the boot. Inside, it’s got a decent setup: all the airbags, including curtain, driver and front passenger, plus a de-activation switch for the passenger seat. There’s a full driver’s seat with manual height and angle adjustments, and a lumbar knob too. The passenger seat’s got fore-aft and recline, which I’ve used a lot on long drives.
I love the little touches — like the cup holders, the sliding armrest, and the vanity mirror on the driver’s side. There’s also a cool bin in the glovebox, and the overhead console has a sunglasses holder. The interior is clean, and the seats are in good shape — no major wear, just normal use.
Safety-wise, it’s got ABS with ESC, electronic stability control, and the Ford IPS system. The alarm is Thatcham Category 1 with volume sensing and perimeter detection — I’ve never had any issues with it. Keyless start works fine, and the Ford SYNC3 navigation is still functional. The DAB system and easy fuel capless refuelling are handy too.
It’s got power windows, power mirrors that fold and have puddle lights, heated mirrors, and even a handbrake with leather trim. The front seats have 3-point belts with load limiters and map pockets. I’ve kept the floor mats and the grab handles — the boot has a neat side trim with shopping hooks, which is useful for groceries.
I’ve driven it a fair bit, mostly in Scotland, so it knows the roads. It’s not a show car, but it’s been dependable, and I’m not planning to sell it soon. I’m just letting it go because I’ve found something else to use.
Price is £6,295.50 — fair for what it is, honestly. If you're looking for a practical, no-nonsense SUV that doesn’t need much fuss, this one’s been a good fit for me.
Just thought I’d share it. If you’re in the area or know someone in Moray, happy to chat.
