Vintage Parker Knoll 1960s rocking chair

I’ve had this Parker Knoll rocking chair for years – it’s one of those pieces that just feels right, like it was made for calm, quiet moments. It’s a solid 1960s mid-century piece with a real teak frame, and the patina is lovely – no chips, no scuffs, just the kind of weathered charm you get from a well-loved thing.

The original pink textured velvet is still there, and while it’s a bit worn in places, it’s still soft and comfortable. The seat has that classic sprung feel, and the back supports you well – it’s not just a pretty chair, it actually feels good to sit in. The rocking is smooth and quiet, which is a bonus when you're trying to unwind.
