DAWES GALAXY Size L 24 Speed Road Bike

Description

This is my old road bike — a DAWES GALAXY, size L, 24-speed with full precision gearing. It’s a solid, well-built bike from England, and I’ve had it serviced properly so it runs smooth and handles hills without a fuss. The frame’s Reynolds 531 tubing, which is pretty tough, and the Shimano parts are all original — nothing cut corners.

I use it daily for commuting around Dudley, West Midlands, and it’s been great in the inner city, especially when the roads get busy. The bottom bracket’s sealed, the bearings are buttery smooth, and the brakes respond fast — I’ve actually had to stop a few times on a busy corner, and they’ve always caught.

It’s a bit on the taller side — fits people from around 6ft to 6’4”, so if you’re on the taller end, you’ll feel comfortable. I’ve kept all the original parts, no swaps or cheap bits — just what came out of the box.

I’m not selling it for a quick cash grab — I’ve actually used it a lot, and it’s still in great shape. I’ve even got the original invoice and all the paperwork.
