2024 Dacia Sandero Stepway 1.0 TCe EXTREME Hatchback

I’ve had this Dacia Sandero Stepway for a couple of years now and it’s honestly been one of my go-to cars for everyday use. It’s a 2024 model with the 1.0 TCe EXTREME engine, petrol, CVT, and Euro 6 compliance – runs smoothly and doesn’t eat through the fuel like some other small cars do.

The green paint is actually quite striking, especially with the 16-inch Mahalia Black alloy wheels. The body-coloured bumpers and copper brown accents on the mirrors and fog lights give it a neat, tidy look without being flashy. I’ve got the modular roof bars and tinted windows on, which I use for outdoor trips and just feels like a nice touch.

Inside, it’s got a decent 8-inch MediaNav with DAB radio, keyless entry, and automatic air conditioning. Front seats heat up, which is a real plus in the winter, and there’s rear park assist with a camera – super helpful when parking. I also have a smartphone holder on the dash, so I don’t have to fumble around.

Safety features are solid: six airbags, lane departure warning, blind spot warning, and even an advanced emergency braking system. I’ve never had any issues with it, and the electronic stability control with hill start assist gives me peace of mind when I’m driving on slopes.

It’s not flashy, but it’s reliable, roomy for a hatchback, and easy to maintain. I’ve driven it across the country from Caldicot, Monmouthshire, and it’s held up well. I’m not selling it for a big sum – it’s actually £14,040 – but if you’re looking for a practical, safe, and reasonably well-equipped small hatchback that doesn’t take up too much space, this one’s worth a look.
