1976 Triumph Tiger 750
Description
So, I’ve got this 1976 Triumph Tiger 750 sitting in my garage in Kirkby-in-Furness, Kirkby Ireleth. It’s not been ridden much over the years — just a few short rides to keep it alive, mostly because it’s a bit of a project for me. I bought it a couple of years ago, and it’s been sitting quietly since, mostly just getting the dust off and keeping the parts in good shape.I’ve just found out about the September 2025 auction at Manor Park Classics — it’s happening on the 5th, and this bike’s listed with an estimate around £3,500–£4,000. I’ve no idea how it’ll go, but I’m not selling it for a quick buck — more like I’m giving it a chance to find someone who actually gets the charm of a classic bike.
The registration is OBU813P, and there’s a V5 document — I’ve kept that safe. The auction is the only one in the North West that does fixed-venue sales, so it’s a bit of a special event. I’ll be there on the day, and I’m happy to answer questions if you’re interested.
I’ve not put any guarantees on it — it’s a classic, sure, but it’s been sitting a while, so it’s not like it’s been driven daily. If you’re thinking about buying it, I’d say go see it in person. The guys at Manor Park have some great videos and photos, and there’s a good chance you can get a feel for it before the hammer falls.
I’ve kept it simple, just the bike and what’s in the box — no extras, no promises. It’s not perfect, but it’s honest. If you’re into vintage bikes and have a bit of time to sit with one, I’m open to talking. No pressure, just sharing something I’ve cared about for years.
