2023 Gibson ES-335 Antique Natural

So, I’ve had this 2023 Gibson ES-335 for a few years now, and honestly, it’s been one of my favourite guitars to play. It’s got that classic ES-335 vibe — the warm, rich tone you get from a well-worn maple top, and the way it just sings when you pick it up. The top’s AAA figured maple with a Natural finish looks great, and it’s been barely played at all — still feels like it’s been sitting in a closet, not on a stage.

The humbuckers are T-Type, calibrated properly, and the wiring’s hand-wired with orange drop capacitors — that little detail makes a real difference in the tone. The neck is a Rounded C with a mahogany body and rosewood fingerboard, which gives it a smooth, easy feel when you're playing. I’ve been using it for both songwriting and gigs, and it just keeps holding up.

It came with the original hard case and all the paperwork — no surprises there. I moved to Dulverton, Somerset a couple of years ago, and it’s been right at home in my little studio there. I’m not selling it to get rich, just parting ways because I’m moving into a new setup. Still, it’s a solid guitar, and I’ve played it through a lot of songs — from blues to rock, you name it.
