So, I’ve had this Golf for a few years now and finally decided to part with it. It’s a 2014 1.4 TSI BlueMotion model, 5-door hatchback, petrol, DSG, Euro 5 – not flashy, but quite solid under the skin. Got a decent mix of tech and comfort, which I’ve actually used quite a bit for daily drives and weekend trips.

The car has been properly maintained and comes with a 6-month warranty, breakdown cover, and recovery. It’s got Bluetooth, DAB radio, cruise control, dual climate control, traction control, and a decent audio setup with AUX and USB – you can even connect your phone or tablets straight in.

It’s got all the safety stuff too: airbags front and rear, driver and passenger seat side impacts, curtain airbags, ABS, ESP, and even a driver alert system. Daytime running lights, automatic dimming mirrors, and a decent interior with leather trim, heated door mirrors, and a 3.5-inch multi-function screen.

I’ve got a spare wheel, luggage compartment with hooks and storage, and it’s got all the modern conveniences – like a load-through provision and child seat ISOFIX points. The 122ps engine isn’t super loud, but it gets you where you need to go without much fuss.
