Description

So I’ve been keeping this car for a few years now — it’s a 2015 Ford C-Max, the 1.0 EcoBoost Titanium estate with manual gearbox. It’s not flashy, but it’s actually quite solid under the hood. I’ve had it through a few seasons of driving, and it’s been mostly low-mileage, good maintenance, and I’ve kept it pretty clean.

It’s got a nice range of features: 12V power socket in the front, auxiliary input, cruise control with speed limiter, and that Ford Eco Mode you can set up to save fuel. The SYNC2 system has DAB navigation, and the lights are all set up — automatic headlights, fog lights, and even heated door mirrors. The alloy wheels are 17-inch, 15-spoke, bright finish on the upper door line, and the handles and mirrors are all body-coloured.

Inside, it’s got dual-zone climate control, one-touch electric windows for all doors, power steering, and a decent amount of storage — like the sliding armrest and sunglasses holder. The seats are adjustable, with lumbar support on both driver and passenger seats, and the rear seats fold flat individually. The rear has height-adjustable headrests too.

Safety-wise, it’s got ABS, airbags (front, side, curtain), ESP, and a Thatcham Category 1 alarm with volume sensing. There’s also a quickclear heated windscreen, tyre pressure monitoring, and ISOFIX points for kids’ seats. I even have the power engine start-stop button — useful when you’re stopping and starting a lot.

I bought it new, and it’s been in Christchurch, Hurn, where I live. I’m not selling it to a dealer — I’m just getting rid of it because I’ve moved on to something else. It’s not perfect, but it’s been reliable and I’ve used it for everyday driving.

I’ve kept it in good shape, and the only thing I’d say is that the interior has a few small signs of wear, but nothing that affects the driving experience. It’s got a fair bit of history, but it’s still fully functional.

If you’re interested, I can show it around or just give you a quick rundown. No pressure — just sharing something I’ve used for years.

(Price is £6,480 — but that’s not the focus. It’s just what it is.)
