I’m selling my 2014 Mazda CX-5 – it’s a solid, well-loved SUV I’ve kept mostly as-is since I bought it. It’s a 2.2-litre diesel with a manual gearbox, so it’s got that old-school driving feel, not too much fuss, just pure, quiet power when you need it.

The car’s in Crystal White – looks sharp, and I’ve noticed it stays cooler in the summer, which is a bonus when you’re out in the heat. The interior is all black leather, feels good to sit in, and it’s easy to clean. I haven’t had any major interior issues, just a bit of wear on the seats after years of use.

It’s a five-door, five-seater – plenty of space for a family or a weekend trip with a load of gear. The engine’s got 148 bhp and 280 lb/ft of torque, so it pulls well without being too aggressive. I’ve never had to worry about fuel costs – it gets around 61.4 mpg, which is great for long drives. It’s also ULEZ compliant, so no problems when driving in London or other city zones.

Only two previous owners, and I’ve kept it on a low maintenance schedule. Road tax has been just £35 a year, and insurance is in group 20 – not too expensive. It’s been well looked after, and I’ve only done minor upkeep.

It’s currently parked at a storage unit in comber, Ards and North Down District Council – I’m just getting rid of it because I’ve moved on to a different kind of vehicle. The price is £3,145.50, but I’m not putting it in the title – just sharing it in case you’re interested.
