Skoda Fabia Estate 2009 Automatic 1.6L 5-door
Description
This 2009 Skoda Fabia Estate is a solid, well-loved family car I’ve had for years and just had a proper service and a quick drive around the block. It’s a 1.6L auto with a VW engine, which means it’s reliable and smooth — I’ve driven it over 70k miles and it’s still running great.I’ve kept it well maintained, and it’s been fully serviced with no warning lights in the dash. The gearbox shifts smoothly — even at 40mph, all six gears move cleanly. I’ve got alloy wheels, good tyres, and it’s fully ULEZ compliant.
It’s got all the basics: driver and passenger airbags, trip computer showing fuel, average, temperature, and time, plus climate control. There’s a CD/DAB radio and aux input, and ISOFIX points for kids. I’ve also kept the log book (V5C) handy — it’s all there.
I used it to do a London round trip recently — 425 miles — and it cost just £30. That’s pretty economical. I’ve driven it a few hundred miles since the last service and it’s been ticking over perfectly.
It’s been in Tonypandy, Rhondda Cynon Taf, and I’m selling it because I’ve moved on to something newer. It’s clean inside and out, and still runs like it should. If you’re looking for a reliable, low-mileage estate with a good mix of features and practicality, this one’s been a real workhorse.
Price is £2,115 — just for reference, I’ll be honest, it’s not cheap but it’s a solid car with a great track record.
