Description

I’ve had this monitor for a few years now and it’s honestly been a solid workhorse in my home office. It’s a 27-inch Full HD screen (1920x1080) with an IPS panel, which means the colours are pretty accurate and the viewing angles are decent—no weird colour shifts when I turn it. The 100Hz refresh rate makes scrolling and multitasking feel smoother than on most older monitors.

The brightness is around 300 nits, and the contrast is good at 1000:1, so it doesn’t wash out in daylight. I’ve used it for work, gaming, and even some video calls, and it’s held up well. The MSI Display Kit app gives you a few extra tweaks for brightness, colour, and even eye comfort settings—useful if you're on the screen all day.

One thing I really like is the blue light filter and anti-flicker tech. I’ve got the TÜV Rheinland Eye Comfort certification, so it’s been a little easier on my eyes during long sessions. There’s also a simple eye strain check tool that’s helpful.

It’s got a clean anti-glare finish too, so it doesn’t get too shiny when you’re sitting in the sun. The stand is tiltable, and I’ve mounted it on a wall bracket—fits nicely with my desk setup. There’s a handy cable clip too, which keeps the mess out of sight.

I’ve got HDMI and VGA ports, plus a headphone jack and line-in. It’s a bit old-school with the VGA, but it still works fine for basic setups.

I’m moving to street, Somerset and don’t need it anymore, so I’m parting with it. It’s in great shape and still runs fine—just not the most cutting-edge, but it’s been reliable. Price is £36 if you’re interested.
