So, I’ve got this little flat I’ve been living in for a few years now — it’s in a pretty old-school art deco building in Broadstairs, Thanet. It’s on the third floor, so no stairs to the top, just a few steps. The place is 55m², has double-height ceilings, a lot of natural light, and you can actually see the sea from the window when you’re in the living area.

It’s open plan — kitchen, living room, and dining all in one flow — and there’s a mezzanine bedroom, plus a proper three-piece bathroom. The inside is bright and tidy, and it’s quiet even though it’s not exactly in the middle of the town. I’ve actually been living here since 2023, so it’s been my home base for a while.

There’s a private covered car space too — which I use all the time. The building has gardens, roof terraces, a gym, steam room, and sauna — nice for a bit of chill time.

I moved here because it’s quieter than central London, and the local shops, cafes, and pubs are just a few minutes’ walk away. Public transport is good — a few bus lines and a train stop nearby, though I don’t use it much.

The flat is unfurnished, so if you're looking for something to move into with a bit of a personal touch, it’s a clean slate. It’s available from August 31, 2025, and I’m looking for a couple to share — no pets, no smoking, no students.

The EPC is a D, and bills aren’t included. I’ve lived here long enough to know it’s a solid, calm place with good vibes.
