2023 Mini Cooper Sport Auto Convertible

So, I’ve got this 2023 Mini Cooper Sport Auto Convertible here — front end’s a bit banged up, starts and runs fine, but it’s not perfect. It’s been through an insurance claim, so it’s a salvage vehicle and repairable. Reg number CYZ3058 if you’re curious.

I’m not selling it as "perfect" or "drivable straight out of the box" — it’s definitely not in showroom condition. The "starts and drives" bit is just to say it’s not dead, but that doesn’t mean it’s safe to drive long distances or that the engine or gearbox are fully healthy. There’s no warranty, and I’d strongly suggest you bring your own mechanic or engineer to check it out before you commit.

The damage is visible, and I’ve got the photos and details laid out, but don’t rely on them — things like the interior, spare wheel, sat nav maps, or charging plug might not be where they should be. All vehicles come from insurers, so mileage, originality, and private plates aren’t guaranteed.

If you’re thinking of buying it, I’d say go see it in person. It’s at bishops-cleeve, Austrey CP — just pop by between 9am and 4pm if you can. I’ve got two guys on the phone — Shaun and Dave — and we’re open seven days a week.

Delivery can be arranged across the UK, though it’ll add a bit to the cost. All payments — debit card, bank transfer, or cash — are accepted, but if it’s cash, there’s a 2% handling fee. Any deposit I take is non-refundable, so no second chances.

I’m not trying to sell it as a showroom car — I’m just trying to get it to someone who knows what they’re looking at. If you’re after something with a bit of character and a good chance of being fixed up, this might be worth a look. Just don’t assume it’s road-ready until it’s fully repaired and passed a full MOT.

And yeah — the HPI might show it clear at one point, but that’s not a guarantee. It’ll eventually show up on HPI, so do your own check.
