So I’ve been keeping this car for a few years now — it’s been my daily driver for a lot of things, from commuting to weekend trips. It’s a 2018 Audi A3 Sportback with the 1.0 TFSI engine, manual gearbox, and Euro 6 compliance — no ULEZ issues, so it’ll run in most places.

The paint is Monsoon Grey, and it’s got those aluminium Mistral door trims — looks sharp without being flashy. Inside, it’s got black/tango red Rallye cloth with rock grey headlining, which is a bit of a nice touch. The seats are front sport seats, and they’re comfortable even after a long day on the road.

I’ve kept it well-maintained, and it’s HPI clear — no admin fees, no red flags. It’s got all the basics: cruise control, rear parking sensors, DAB radio, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a full 7-inch MMI screen with navigation. The climate control’s decent, and the heated door mirrors and power steering make it feel a bit more refined.

It’s got a lot of practical bits too — USB ports, AUX, a first aid kit, floor mats, and even a tool kit. There’s also a split-fold rear seat (60-40), which is handy if you’re ever doing a family trip or need to carry a bit more.

I’ve used it mostly in the countryside around Banham, Mid Devon — plenty of quiet roads, so it’s been a good fit. I’ve never had any major issues with it, and it’s been very reliable.
