2013 Volkswagen Golf GTI MK6 DSG
Description
So, I’ve been keeping this car for years — it’s my trusty little companion through all sorts of trips, especially the long hauls I’ve been doing for work. But now, I’ve decided to part with it.It’s a 2013 MK6 Golf GTI, the Japanese import version, and has only done just under 87k miles. I’ve put a lot of love into it — custom roof paint, sill covers, rear diffuser, mirror caps, and the spoiler all done up. It’s not just flashy, it actually feels good on the road.
The DSG gearbox got serviced about 4k miles ago, and I had a full service last week — I’ve got the invoices, so you can see it’s been properly looked after. I’m the first UK registered owner, which is a big plus.
The car didn’t come with any service records from Japan, but I do have all the paperwork from Origin Japan Ltd — everything’s in order.
What’s inside?
- Air conditioning that’s genuinely ice-cold
- Dual zone climate control
- Electric windows front and back
- Power folding mirrors
- Automatic headlights and wipers
- ISOFIX seats
- Wireless CarPlay
- The rare Dynamic Chassis Control (DCC)
- 18-inch Monza alloys
- Reversing camera
- Tyre pressure monitoring
It’s not the most common setup, and I know it’s not the cheapest, but it’s been my go-to for years. I’m moving to Bewdley in the Wyre Forest area, and I just can’t keep it around any longer with all the travel.
If you’ve got any questions — or just want to chat — I’m happy to reply. No pressure, just sharing something I’ve genuinely cared about.
