Got this MacBook Pro 13-inch A1278 lying around — it’s been in good hands for a few years now, still runs pretty smoothly even with the battery status saying service is recommended. The battery’s not dead, just a bit worn, and I found a replacement on eBay for just £15 — super easy to swap in if you want to go that route. It’s got a 2.53GHz dual-core processor, 4GB of RAM, and a 128GB SSD — I installed Big Sur myself using an OCLP patcher since the last official macOS update was Catalina. No major scratches, just a few minor marks here and there. It’s not brand new, but it’s still usable and feels solid.
