Got this old Mountain Buggy Duet sitting in my garage at ash-aldershot, Aldershot, and I’m finally ready to part with it. It’s been used about 10 times total, so it’s in great shape — just needs a bit of a tyre pump and the seat covers can be tossed in the washing machine (they’ve been in storage for a while).

It’s got a car seat mount, so I’ve used it from baby to age 4 (one seat at a time), and the kids loved it. The seats are wide — one of the largest side-by-side ones out there — with a 64cm seat height and full lie-flat recline that goes all the way up to upright for toddlers.

I love the little leg rests for comfort, the foot park brake for a full stop, and the adjustable handlebar so it’s easier to push when you’re tired. The front wheels lock or swivel, which makes turning in tight spaces a breeze.

The seat liners are reversible, cushioned, and easy to clean. There’s a hand control brake too, and the mesh sunhoods have a flip-out visor and silent peek-a-boo windows — super handy on sunny days.

It’s only 63cm wide, so it fits right through doorways like a single buggy, which is a real plus. The tyres are air-filled (4 x 10"), so they’ve got a good cushion when you’re going on rough ground or just jogging around.

It’s got 5-point harnesses with adjustable straps, and I’ve used it with car seats like a carrycot or cocoon (sold separately).

I’ve had it for years, and it’s been a real go-to for my kids — it’s just been sitting in storage now. Price is £225, but I’m not selling it to make money — it’s more of a "let’s get rid of it and move on" deal. If you’ve got a little one and want something sturdy and comfortable, this might just work for you.
