This 2018 Clio 1.5 Dci GT Line is a solid, practical hatchback with great fuel economy and a clean 12-month MOT. I’ve had it for a few years and it’s been mostly driven on the road, not much off-road — so it’s still in great shape.

It’s got all the basics: 17-inch alloy wheels, a modern MediaNav system, cruise control, automatic headlights, and a decent amount of storage — there’s a shelf above the glovebox, two cup holders near the handbrake, and a 4L glovebox. The seats are comfy, and the driver’s seat has height adjustment, which I’ve used a lot.

Safety features are top-notch — full airbags, EBA, ABS, ESC, traction control, hill start assist, and even a child lock on the rear doors. There’s also a pollen filter in the heating system and a remote central locking with immobiliser (Thatcham Cat 2).

I’ve kept it well maintained — no major repairs, just regular servicing. The windows are electric, front and rear, with anti-pinch on the driver’s side. The dash is soft touch, black with chrome trim, and the side door protection has a nice chrome detail.

It’s got a decent amount of tech — automatic climate control with demist function, one-touch demist, and variable wiper speed. The boot has a rear spoiler and hidden door handles. There’s also a 12V power socket and a tyre pressure warning light.

The car’s been in my family for a while now, and I’ve driven it mostly in the East Midlands — so it’s familiar to me and I know how it handles. It’s not flashy, but it’s reliable, efficient, and actually fun to drive.

I’m not selling it for a lot — it’s just that I’ve moved and don’t need it anymore. If you’re looking for a reliable, fuel-efficient, no-nonsense hatchback that’s still got all the modern safety and tech, this one’s been a great daily driver.
