Oval Floral Rug

Description
This old Aubusson-style rug has a lovely floral pattern and a hand-knotted fringe. It’s quite thick and heavy, with some cutout flowers that give it a bit of texture. I’m pretty sure it’s wool, though I don’t have any tags to confirm. The backing is canvas, and it’s about 1750x1100mm. It’s been in the same place for years, so it’s never been much use — just a bit dusty, but otherwise in great shape. I’m moving out of Chelstow, Monmouthshire, and thought I’d part with it. It’s not fancy, but it’s been a nice piece of decor for a while. I’d just give it a quick clean and it’d be ready to go. £27 if you’re interested.Seller Information
