Got this jacket from a long-time mate who’s now moving to a different town — it’s been sitting in the back of my garage for years, mostly just getting dusted off. It’s an olive green waxed cotton, size XL, and honestly, it’s a solid piece. The fabric is tough and feels great against the skin — not too stiff, not too slippery. I’ve got it on quite a few rides over the years, especially in that damp patch between the coast and the hills.

It’s got two outside pockets, a few slant zips, and three inside pockets. The corduroy trim on the zip and magnetic bottom closure is a nice touch — feels like it’s been made to last. There’s ventilation zips too, which I’ve used when the weather turns a bit sticky. Shoulder, back, and arm armour is there, and the quilted detail on the arms and shoulders adds a bit of warmth and character. The quilted green liner inside can actually be worn on its own — I’ve used it a few times as a lightweight layer.

I’ve kept it clean and stored it properly, so it’s still in great shape. The cuffs have zippers too, which I’ve used when I wanted to keep the sleeves tidy. It’s not flashy, but it’s dependable.
