I’ve had this BSA weekender road bike for years – medium frame, 27” wheels, five-speed, and it’s been perfectly fine for local trips and commuting. It’s not flashy, but it’s solid and runs well. I’ve used it mostly for short rides around Brora, Highland, and it’s always been reliable. Still has a bit of wear on the chain and one brake pad is a bit frayed, but nothing serious. I’m getting rid of it because I’ve switched to a different kind of transport, and it’s just sitting in the shed.
