HikVision iDS-TCM403-BI ANPR NVR with 4MP Bullet Camera
Description
So I got rid of this old surveillance setup I’d been using at my place in Mablethorpe, Mablethorpe and Sutton. It’s a HikVision iDS-TCM403-BI ANPR system — the NVR and a 4MP bullet camera with IR, which means it works in low light. The camera’s got 140dB WDR, so it handles both bright and dark spots really well, which is a big deal if you're trying to get clear footage in changing light. It’s got AI-powered ANPR, which helps read license plates automatically — pretty handy if you’re doing anything like monitoring access points or parking. The H.265+ compression cuts down on storage and bandwidth, which I found useful when I was running it on a modest network.
The NVR handles four channels and has IP67 and IK10 ratings — basically, it’s built to survive the elements and rough handling. I used it for a while, tested it thoroughly, and it’s been working solidly. I’m not selling it for a lot, just getting rid of it. It’s been sitting in a closet for a while, and I thought I’d give it a new home.
If you’re looking for something reliable and not too flashy, this might be worth a look. I’m happy to answer questions if you’re curious — just don’t expect it to be in the same spot as before.
