Vintage reels

Description

Got three vintage fishing reels I’ve had around for years – all in good shape for their age. One’s a Flui-drive metal centre pin with a bronze finish, comes in the original box, and it’s an A2/3 model. Then there’s a Beaudex salmon reel from the 1980s, J W Young with DT9F line, and a Garcia Mitchell 710 automatic fly reel with two spools – one with DT6S and one with DT6F double taper lines. I picked them up when I was sorting through a few old boxes in Prenton, Wirral. They’re not flashy, but they’ve seen a fair bit of use and still work well. All together they’re worth about £80, though I’m just passing them on. If you’re into classic reels and don’t mind a bit of history, they might be a nice addition to your gear. Price is £72, but I’m not charging much since they’re not in great condition for modern standards – just happy to part with them.
