2023 Nissan Qashqai 1.3 DIG-T MHEV Hybrid SUV

So, I’ve been keeping this car for a few years now — it’s basically my go-to for both city drives and weekend trips. It’s a 2023 Qashqai with the 1.3 DIG-T mild hybrid engine, which gives you that nice blend of power and fuel economy. The 158ps isn’t flashy, but it’s more than enough for everyday driving, and the automatic transmission shifts smoothly without any jerks.

I’ve actually driven it a lot in Callander, Stirling — it’s a solid choice for people who want something practical but not too boxy. The red paint stands out, and those 18-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels give it a bit of edge without looking too sporty. The interior is clean and modern — chrome door handles and body-coloured mirrors make it feel a bit more premium than you’d expect from a standard SUV.

Inside, there’s a 12.3-inch touchscreen with both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, so I can just connect my phone and get on with life. The safety features are solid too — blind spot warning, forward collision warning, and lane keep assist all work well. I’ve used the rear sensors and around-view monitor a few times, especially when parking in tight spaces.

It’s not a luxury car by any means, but it’s dependable, comfortable, and actually quite easy to maintain. I’ve had it through a few seasons of changing weather, and it’s held up well. The price is £20,241 — I know that’s a bit high for a used hybrid, but it’s what I paid when I bought it, and I’m not selling it for a discount.
