Studio flash kit
Description
Got this studio lighting kit sitting in my garage in Bidford-on-Avon, Stratford-on-Avon — it’s been a bit of a project, but I’m finally ready to part with it.It’s a mains-powered setup with three Visatec Logos 80 or so — two are working fine, one’s a bit worn and needs a new flashtube (might just be a quick repair job if you’re into that sort of thing). So if you're looking for a solid base with room to grow, this could be a good fit — especially if you’ve got the parts to bring the third one back to life.
What’s in the box:
- Two working Visatec Logos 800 flash heads
- One in need of repair (flashtube likely)
- Two mains leads
- Two reflector dishes
- A pair of leaf barn doors
- Two Broncolor silver reflective umbrellas
- A carry case for everything
Stands aren’t included — that’s something I’ve always found a bit of a hassle, so I didn’t add them.
Flash specs:
- 300W monolights, variable output over 4 f-stops (in 1/10 f-stop steps)
- 150W modeling light that can go high, low, or proportional to the flash
- Visual and audible display, adjustable fast/slow recharge
- Interlocking VISATEC bayonet for 360° rotation of softboxes
- Tilt head with lock
- Auto-dump feature if power drops
- Umbrella mount built in
I’ve actually used it a few times in my home studio — works pretty well, especially for portraits or small shoots. I’ll only be doing collection from Bidford-on-Avon, so you’ll need to come see it in person. Might be worth a look if you're into practical, reliable gear.
Priced at £53.10 — not a lot, just a bit of kit I’ve had for years.
