Job lot of ornaments, African and animal inspired
Description
I’ve got a bunch of handmade ornaments I’ve been collecting over the years — mostly African and animal-themed, which I’ve always found really interesting. Thought I’d share them in case someone wants to add to their collection or just use at a car boot sale. The lot includes:
- A wooden bowl set in hand-carved elephant legs. The bowl comes off easily, so it’s not too fussy to use. In great shape.
- A ceramic piece from Soul Journey (2000) called Kamaou – Quiet Warrior. Looks really well made, in excellent condition.
- A larger ceramic and wood bowl from Soul Journey (2003). It’s quite heavy, and has some minor wear, but the animal carvings are striking. Might be worth a bit of touch-up if someone wants to restore it.
- A lion-shaped ceramic money box — clean, solid, in perfect condition.
- A metal lion, also in great shape.
- A turtle carving with an adult and a young turtle — looks brand new, almost like it was just made.
I’ve tried to give a sense of size in the photos, but if you’re curious about anything, just ask. Honestly, I don’t mind if it’s just one or two items you’re interested in. The total was originally £30, but I’m open to offers on individual pieces.
All of these are from a collection I’ve had for years — I live in cambridgeshire, Cambridgeshire and Peterborough, so collection only due to the weight of some of them.
