This is one of those bikes you’d only ever see in a very small number of places — not on Gumtree, not on any big site. It was made to order for a semi-pro rider years ago, and the original cost was £2500 back then. If you go looking for a hand-made Reynolds 853 today, you’ll find it’s not easy, and it’s definitely not cheap.

The frame is a true Reynolds 853, hand-made, super light — lighter than a carbon frame, honestly. It’s got the full Ultegra groupset, Mavic Cosmic wheels, Mavic hubs, and a Millennium carbon fork. All parts are original, nothing swapped or cut corners. It’s been professionally serviced and only used a few times — clean, unblemished, no dents or rust.

Bottom bracket is sealed, bearings are super smooth, brakes are responsive and solid — great for city riding or just getting around on rougher roads. If you’re 6ft to 6’4”, this will fit you like a glove.

We’re based on isle-of-cumbrae, 11 — not far from the coast, quiet place, easy to get to. The bike’s been kept in good shape, and I’m happy to show it to you or let you test it out. Just give me a call or text when you’re ready.
