I’ve got a copy of Sophie’s World by Jostein Gaarder — 436 pages, well-thumbed but in great condition. I bought it when I was a kid and it’s been a favourite ever since. I read it through a few times, still have the pages slightly creased at the edges from flipping through, but no damage. It’s been sitting on my shelf in Portsmouth, England for years. I’m passing it on because I’ve got a newer one now. It’s not a big deal — just a book I loved, and I’m happy to part with it.
