Land Rover Defender 90 Panel Van
Description
Got this old Land Rover Defender 90 panel van in blue, manual diesel, 2495cc — built in '96, registered back then, and I’ve had it for about 25 years now. It’s a solid, reliable workhorse I used every day for three years, and it never let me down. The last time I drove it, it ran fine, though the last MOT didn’t pass — front prop shaft joint, rear chassis x-member, and a lower steering column joint all needed fixing.I’ve kept it off the road since 2022, stored it in a secure underground car park in Lossiemouth, Moray. It’s been well looked after, with a battery isolator, engine immobiliser, spare wheel, and five new Goodyear Wrangler All-Terrain tyres.
I’m moving abroad soon and just can’t keep it anymore. It’s not a show car, it’s a real work van that’s done its bit. I’d say it’s worth a bit of work, but it’s still solid underneath. If you’re someone who’s into classic Land Rovers or just wants a reliable van with a bit of character, it might be worth a look. I’m not selling it for a lot — it’s £7,200 — but I’ve just got to let it go.
