Got about 100 used roofing slates, roughly 600mm x 300mm, from a garden shed roof in Holmrook, Cumberland. They’re not brand new, but they’re solid and still hold up well. I’ve been using them for a small repair job and they’ve held up okay. If you’re looking for something practical and don’t mind a bit of wear, this could work.
