BMW X6 2012 3.0L 40D X-DRIVE Steptronic

Description

I’ve had this BMW X6 for a few years now and it’s been my go-to for everything from weekend drives to long hauls. It’s a 2012 3.0L 40D model with 102k miles — not a lot, honestly, considering it’s been mostly driven gently. I’ve kept it well maintained, and the last service was done recently. MOT runs till October 2025, so it’s been properly looked after.

The car’s in great shape — interior is clean, leather (Nevada) looks like it’s never been worn down, and the heated seats and electric adjustments work perfectly. I’ve kept all the factory upgrades: brushed aluminium trim, heated mirrors, automatic air conditioning with two-zone control, and those nice 20” alloy wheels. The sat-nav is professional, Bluetooth works seamlessly, and it has all the modern features — USB, aux, DAB, rain sensors, cruise control, and even a 360-degree camera.

I’ve had the airbags serviced and checked — both driver and passenger ones were replaced during the 2024 recall, and the propshaft was updated in 2023. All the brake components are Brembo all around, and the wheels are original factory paint — all white, which is pretty rare. The privacy windows are factory original, and the windows are tinted, which I really like.

It has two keys, a remote to open the boot, and everything from the steering wheel to the seats is fully electric. The seats even fold, and the rear seats are foldable too. I’ve never needed to replace anything major — just regular servicing.

I’m moving to Buckingham, Buckinghamshire, and just realised I’ve been keeping this car for a long time, so I’m selling it now. It’s not a daily driver, but it’s been reliable and fun to drive. Price is £7,920 — I’m not sure how much that is in the market, but it’s a solid, well-maintained X6 that’s been treated with care.
