This is the one I’ve had since new — a 2002 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 2148 cc, originally built as a 130bhp CDI with a 5-speed manual and rear-wheel drive. I’ve kept it perfectly maintained, no kids, no pets, never smoked — just quiet, reliable use.

It’s a full conversion with a high-top and high rear doors, and I’ve kept it under cover every single time. One owner from day one, and it’s still got the original Mercedes service records. I’ve had it for over 20 years and it’s covered about 54,000 miles — still running strong.

Key bits: central locking, alloy wheels, heated rear windows, driver airbag, extra security locks, electric mirrors. The dateless number plate is a nice touch. Comes with a spare wheel and jack, good Michelin tyres, and a MOT valid until November 2025 — no advisories at all.

The seats swivel, which is handy for different layouts. The dinette can convert to two single beds or one big double — plenty of storage space too. Roof has two solar panels. There’s a 12V compressor fridge with an ice compartment. Fire blanket and two extinguishers are included.

It’s registered as a motorcaravan and has a gas certificate. I’ve kept it in good shape, mostly stored in a garage, and it’s been a real joy to live in over the years.
