Got this little Vauxhall Corsa in 2013, still running strong after all these years. It’s a 998cc, five-door hatchback with a manual gearbox — perfect for someone who likes a bit of control and doesn’t want to deal with fancy tech. I’ve had it for a while now and put a fair bit of effort into it — new tyres, fresh brake pads and discs, and even had a second-hand ECU fitted when it started showing signs of wear. The mileage is actually around 82k, but it’s been kept well looked after, so no major issues. Road tax is £30 a year, insurance is a nice low 2100ono, and it’s been registered from the moment the ECU was swapped. I’ve never had any DVSA flags or problems, so it’s been a solid, reliable car.
