2016 Mercedes-Benz GLA 220d AMG Line SUV
Description
So, I’ve had this 2016 GLA 220d for a few years now — it’s been my daily driver for most of that time. It’s a solid, well-maintained one with only two owners from new, and the only change was a minor switch in June 2021. I’ve done 7 services total — 4 through the main dealer (including a gearbox service in 2022) and 3 with an independent mechanic, the last one in March 2025 at 57,125 miles. It’s in great shape overall. The Jupiter Red paint is clean and shows well, and the interior is black Artico leather with Dinamica microfibre, red stitching that really stands out. I’ve kept it mostly low-mileage, and it’s been treated with care.
Inside, it’s got all the modern stuff — Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, reverse camera, heated and memory seats, panoramic roof, cruise control, and a nice range of driving modes like Eco, Comfort, and Sport. The 19-inch AMG-style alloy wheels are painted black with a high sheen, and the details like chrome trim, brushed steel pedals, and body-coloured mirrors add to the feel.
I’ve also got the full safety package — ABS, ESP, active braking, pedestrian detection (it raises the bonnet when it senses impact), and all the airbags, including side and windowbags. There’s even a child seat sensor and a first aid kit in the boot.
I’ve never needed to replace anything major — just regular servicing and a few routine checks. It’s been reliable, quiet, and comfortable for long drives or city commuting.
I’m not selling it for a quick profit — I’ve been using it as my main car, and I’m just looking to part with it now. The price is £12,349.80, which I’m happy with given how it’s held up.
If you’re interested, I’d be happy to show it to you in Topsham, Exeter — just give me a call or text, and we can arrange a time that works. No pressure, just a proper chat and a look around.
No fancy marketing — just a real car, well looked after, and I’m genuinely happy to hand it over.
