Got this old BMW X1 estate in Shetland, Scotland — it’s been well looked after, interior’s all in good shape and everything works except the engine. There’s a bit of rod damage, but it still starts up and actually puts out a bit more oil lately, which is odd but not a dealbreaker. I had it checked recently and it’s been serviced, but nothing’s really fixed the issue. It’s not a show car, just a reliable workhorse.
