PORTMEIRION SEASONS COLLECTION Leaves Tea & Coffee Set
Description
I’ve been holding onto this Portmeirion Seasons Collection Leaves set for years – it’s one of those things you just know is special when you see it. Designed by Susan Williams-Ellis, it’s the rare, discontinued range that’s now hard to find. The set includes:- 5 tea/coffee cups (dusky blue, grey, green, purplish leaves on white background) – each about 3 inches high, with a wide rim and an angular handle that I actually really like
- 5 saucers (dusky blue with wide rims)
- 1 creamer (blue/grey/green/purplish leaves on pale green – holds 200ml, about a third of a pint)
- 1 sugar bowl with lid (base has the same leaf pattern, lid is pale green)
It’s been in a china cabinet since I bought it – only used a couple of times at most, no chips, cracks, or scratches. It looks like it’s been sitting in a drawer, which is probably why it’s still in such good shape.
If you’re really into this type of thing and want to go full set, I also have a second lidded sugar bowl (just a tiny chip on the underside of the lid) and two spare saucers – I’d be happy to throw those in for free.
It’s now discontinued, so it’s not something you’ll see in a regular shop. I’ve kept it as a piece of my own collection, and it’s just been sitting in the cupboard for years.
Cash only on collection – from Braintree, Essex. I’m not selling it for a lot, it’s just a personal piece I’ve held onto. Asking £40.50.
