ABI Hartfield Lodge
Description
So, I’ve been living in this ABI Hartfield lodge for a couple of years now, and I’m finally ready to part with it. It’s a 36x12 ft holiday home built in 2017, fully furnished and tucked into a quiet corner of Lakeview Holiday Park in Abbot’s Langley, Three Rivers. It’s got two bedrooms — one master with an ensuite shower and a dressing room (which I use for storing my winter clothes), and a twin room that’s just about right for a couple or a small family. The open-plan lounge, kitchen, and dining area feels spacious, especially with the big kitchen island, built-in fridge, cooker, and extractor fan. I’ve got a good electric fire, a coffee table, and a TV stand — it’s comfortable for weekend getaways or just chilling with a book.
The double glazing keeps the cold out, and central heating means it’s cozy all year round. I love the countryside views and the lake — there’s a patio and decking area, so you can relax on a sunny afternoon or enjoy a glass of wine while watching the water. There’s also a designated parking spot and a driveway, which is a real plus when you’ve got a car.
The park is owners-only, so it’s peaceful — no crowds, just quiet walks, fishing on the lakes, and a little bar/lounge where people hang out. It’s pet-friendly too, and I’ve had a dog there for years. I’ve even walked the trails around the park a few times and found it’s a great spot for a relaxed break.
I’ve been using it as a second home for a few years now, and it’s been a real relief from the city. I’m not selling it for a big sum — it’s just that I’m moving to a different area and need to clear some space. It’s in pretty good shape, and I’ve kept it well maintained.
If you’re looking for a calm, stylish place to unwind — whether it’s a holiday or just a weekend retreat — this one might just work for you. I’ve lived in it, I know what it’s like, and I’m happy to chat about it if you’re interested.
(Just a note: it’s not for sale at £24,075 — that’s what the listing says, but I’m just sharing it as a heads-up. I’m not looking to flip it, just get it out of the way.)
