2017 Audi S6 Avant 4.0L V8 Estate

So, I’ve had this 2017 Audi S6 Avant for a few years now, and honestly, it’s one of the few cars I’ve ever been happy with. Only 49,172 miles on it, which for a car this age is pretty rare. It’s a four-wheel drive with that big 4.0L V8 petrol engine — not just flashy, but actually quick, hits 60 in under 4.5 seconds, which is a bit of a thrill when you’re just cruising down the road or need to get somewhere fast.

It’s got that sleek 20-inch alloy wheel design with the 5-twin-spoke look — not too flashy, but definitely stands out. The seats are electrically adjustable, and the driver’s side has memory function, so I can just sit back and get into my preferred position every time. The cabin is a bit more spacious than average too — I’ve used it for long weekend trips, with gear, groceries, and even a bit of camping gear in the boot.

Inside, it’s got a full 4-zone climate control, Bluetooth, light and rain sensors, and all the safety features you’d expect — like pretensioner seat belts. I’ve driven it in all sorts of weather, and it’s held up well. It’s not flashy, but it’s solid, reliable, and actually feels like a proper luxury estate.

I’m keeping it in Ross-on-Wye, Herefordshire, and I’m not sure how long I’ll keep it — might be time to part with it. It’s not the most expensive car, but it’s definitely one I’ve stuck with through thick and thin. If you're looking for something that just works, and doesn’t feel like it’s trying too hard — this one’s a keeper.
