Description

So, I’m finally putting this van up for sale after a few years of being a full-time family car — honestly, it’s been a bit of a life change. I’ve had this Caddy Maxi for eight years, and it’s been my go-to for all sorts of adventures: festivals, surf trips, cycling in France, and even a proper trip to Italy. I’ve converted it into a proper weekend camper, with a rock’n’roller bed, storage drawers, and a fold-up table — it’s actually quite comfy if you’ve got a bit of space and a good playlist.

I’ve been driving it for years, and it’s been a real workhorse. It’s got a 1.6L diesel engine, manual 5-speed, and 128k miles — not a lot of miles on it for a van that’s been used so much. It’s blue, has electric windows, air conditioning, front fog lights, rear parking sensor, and a rhino roof rack. The bed has a drawer underneath and can be taken out if you want to store things. I’ve even got a brand new 30L water container in case you’re planning a long trip.

I’ve kept it well looked after — I’ve had a full service history from trusted mechanics, and every major job has been done properly. This year I got a new clutch with warranty, plus master and slave cylinders. I also replaced the injector in cylinder 3, and had new front tyres (Bridgestone) fitted at 118k. The timing belt and water pump were replaced at 64k and 113k, and I’ve had the anti-roll bar links and bushes renewed at 96k. Front and rear brake pads were replaced at 77k and 96k, and the shocks were done at 77k and 96k. All of this was done with quality parts and proper care.

It’s been MOT’d and is ready to drive straight out of the box. I’ve kept all the paperwork with it. I’m not selling it because I don’t love it — I’m just going to be honest: I’ve had a baby and need a car that’s more practical for daily life. So it’s time to hand it over to someone who’ll enjoy it as much as I have.

If you’re interested, I’m happy to show it around or do a test drive. Open to offers — I’m not asking for a lot, it’s just a van I’ve loved and used every day.
