Got this old cow hide rug from a family property in cobham, Elmbridge — it’s a big patchwork piece with black, brown, and cream tones. It’s not perfect, definitely shows a few wear spots as you can see in the photos, especially in three places. Measures 225 x 165 cm, so it fits a large living room. I’ve only ever had it in one place and it’s been in the same spot for years, so it’s seen a bit of life. The original RRP was over £1,000, but I’m keeping it for now because it’s really comfortable underfoot and has character. No collections, just a real person passing it on.
