44KG Cast Iron Weight Set with Tri Grip Plates and 5ft Barbell
Description
I’ve been using this set for a few months now and honestly, it’s become a staple in my home gym. It’s not fancy, but it’s solid — just what you need to get started with strength training without breaking the bank. The barbell is 5ft long and weighs 6.5kg, which fits perfectly in a small space. I’ve got 10kg, 5kg, 2.5kg, and 1.25kg plates — all 1” cast iron with tri grip handles. The handles make it easy to grip, and I’ve actually started using them for things like deadlift variations or even as a stability tool when doing bodyweight moves.
It’s got a max capacity of 44kg when all plates are stacked, so you can build up weight gradually. I’m not a gym guy, so this set has been perfect for me to work out at home without needing a big setup.
I’ve kept it in a storage bin under my stairs, so it’s not taking up much space. It’s been a real help, and I’m passing it on to someone who’s looking to get into home workouts.
Price is £85.50 — it’s not a lot, but it’s exactly what I’d want to pay for something this practical. I’m based in Nethy-bridge, Highland, so just let me know if you’re nearby and want to pick it up.
